Caroline Nash remembers
"I remember Toby from the mid to late 90's when he and Kym helped
out with a youth group in St.Albans. Toby is someone I will always remember
as a vibrant, passionate and giving person. He and Kym were extremely
supportive and I will always be grateful for their help and guidance as
a teenager. I also remember our trip to Devon in 1996 and how Toby showed
perseverance and resilience in the face of his illness. I always respected
his ability to not dwell on things and live his life to the full.
In the words that Jo has also written about the trip to Devon he was most
definitely the life and soul of the party!! Toby had a fantastic sense
of humour and that weekend is one of the memories I will treasure of Toby.
I have not seen Toby for a long time but when I heard the news and no
matter how much time has passed I will always remember the love and warmth
he showed people, he was a special person. My love and thoughts go to
Kym, Joel, Hope and the rest of Toby's family."
