Toby in 2000

A message from the Howard-Bakers about this photo:

"This was taken at my 30th (May 2000) which was not fancy dress, but Toby decided to turn up like this anyway. Toby was one of the most outrageously funny people I have met, when ever with him he would always bring out the Monty python type behaviour in me. He had the great ability to do shocking things and get away with it. (Those slightly over intimate hugs with my wife Karen) He was indeed an affectionate person and saying that I used to get those hugs as well ! You could always be your self with Toby, he lived and breathed "real" and enabled you to be real when around him You knew you could say what you like and not be judged for it. He loved music and film and introduced me to new music especially Bruce Cockburn. I remember him doing a mix tape for me with inserted film clips Toby was very creative and had the ability to freely express what was going on inside...I believe he is now dancing before God in total freedom. I have so many memories of Toby. especially the days of afternoons with Kym and Toby with our first bornes Beth and Joel, cups of teas, cheese on toast, with so much foolery and laughter, i will never forget those times . All I can say is we highly valued his friendship and partners in loonisey. pip pip"
