Simon Jones and Family
The following was an e-mail sent to Kit and Kym in response to the invite to the funeral:
"Thanks for including me in the email. It was actually pretty moving, reading the plans for the day. I can picture you all there in the woods, dressed unusually brightly. I wanted to do something to mark the occasion, as we're not able to be there with you all to pay our respects. I wrote this song a couple of years ago, the last time death came close to me. And here it is again. So, I thought I'd sing it for Toby, as a way to honour him, a way to celebrate his thoughtfulness and his laughter. His inappropriateness and his joy. His gentleness and his honesty. His strength and his vulnerability."
